Meet Our PASTOR

Josh Meyers is our lead pastor, but he didn’t grow up knowing Jesus. In his teens, life felt overwhelming—marked by depression, suicidal thoughts, and a sense of not belonging. One day, he wandered into a newly built church and listened as someone shared their story, opening with the exact question Josh had been asking himself: “If life is this hard, why live it?” Hearing how Jesus brought that person hope and transformation led Josh to give his life to Jesus, a decision that changed the course of his life forever.

Over the past 20 years, Josh has served as a worship leader, youth and young adults pastor, interim pastor, and now, lead pastor. He’s shared the gospel from the pulpit, in youth rooms, and even from the stage in a touring Christian rock/metal band. His heart is for people who feel far from God, helping them find a place to find and follow Jesus.

Josh holds an undergrad degree in Music and Digital Communications and is pursuing his Master’s in Pastoral Ministry through Kairos University. He and his wife Chelsea are raising three great kids—a 16-year-old daughter, a 7-year-old son, and a 4-year-old daughter—while planting Destination Church in East Bethel, Minnesota. When he’s not preaching or leading our church, you might catch him hunting down the perfect burger, sipping an energy drink, blasting good music, or telling puns so bad they’re almost holy.
